Launched in Leeds in February 08, Electronic Poet is a new menswear label that takes music-inspired and collaborative designs and turns them into quality garments which are hand stitched and made in Italy. The aim is to acknowledge "DJ's, producers and bands who through their creative means are breaking boundaries and pushing electronic music forward to new heights. Electronic Poet is all about celebrating music, club culture and good design. The chaps are issuing collaborations with other like-minded folk, the first one is with the world class electronic label set up by DJ Ralph Lawson in 1995, 2020 vision. The next will be with the legendary Secret Sundaze, innovators of day time clubbing in East London's 93ft East, followed by a collab with the formidable DJ and techno pioneer Greg Wilson. Fans so far include Hot Chip (they played wearing Electronic Poets clothing at the launch) and Gilles Peterson.
