The story behind the Antarctic, or Everest Parka is now well known, worn by Sir Edmund Hillary during his successful ascent of the World's highest peak. The original jacket worn by Hillary now resides in Nigel Cabourn's own archive - after he travelled to New Zealand to buy it from a museum! - and this AW10 version is a painstaking recreation, down to the colour. This jacket must be seen to be fully appreciated.
