Nigel Cabourn Oiled Aircraft Jacket

For his SS12 Authentic collection, Nigel has taken particular inspiration from the clothing worn by the Desert Rats - British troops stationed in North Africa during WWII, under the command of General Montgomery. Many familiar pieces from previous Authentic collections make a welcome return, updated with new detailing, fabrics and colour combinations inspired by the Desert Rats.

The Spring/Summer '12 version of the Aircraft jacket is a premium reworking of a true Cabourn favourite. Made from Cotton Cloth coated in refined Oil - a technique developed by British fisherman - this is a material which Nigel has worked with with since 1979 due to its quality and durability.
