Senior Content Editor - Newcastle Upon Tyne - Full Time
Salary £18,000 - £20,000 – Depending on skills and experience
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, driven and talented individual to join the End web content team as a Senior Content Editor. The team are responsible for the development and implementation of all the content on the End Clothing website. The successful candidate should demonstrate exceptional written English language skills, a high level of graphic design ability, and an exceptional knowledge of the brands and products we work with.
The Job Will Involve
- Providing accurate, insightful and interesting copy for product descriptions, blog entries and news features
- Constructing blog entries and news features
- Constructing email marketing newsletters
- Designing advertising images for all areas of the website, such as the home, product and accounts pages
- Helping the Content Team Manager schedule product launches and other work for the team
- Editing, clipping and re-sizing product images
- Adding products to the End Clothing website
- Uploading product images to the End Clothing website
Essential Skills
- Exceptional English language skills
- Exceptional product and brand knowledge, and a keen interest in menswear and the retail industry
- An excellent working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
- A high level of design ability and creativity
- An eye for product photography and design
- The ability to quickly learn and master new systems
- The ability to schedule and manage multiple tasks and ongoing projects
- The ability to manage other team members
- A high level of attention to detail
- Excellent time management
Desirable Skills
- Recent commercial design experience
- Recent fashion writing experience

Content Assistant- Newcastle Upon Tyne - Full Time
Salary £12,000 - £14,000 – Depending on skills and experience
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, driven and talented individual to join the End web content team as a Content Assistant. The team are responsible for the development and implementation of all the content on the End Clothing website. The successful candidate should demonstrate a good working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, an eye for design and posess excellent time management skills.
The Job Will Involve
- Editing, clipping and re-sizing product images
- Accurately measuring and sizing products
- Adding products to the End Clothing website
- Writing accurate product descriptions and sizing information
- Uploading product images to the End Clothing website
- Collecting and preparing products for the in-house photographer
- Assisting the senior team members with advertising images and blog entries
Essential Skills
- A good working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop

PHP Developer - Newcastle Upon Tyne - Full Time
We are currently looking for a bright and enthusiastic PHP developer to join the End team. The job role is based within the main End office in Newcastle City centre working with the existing web content and design team. The successful candidate should have at least 2-3 years of commercial experience and should be able to demonstrate a solid understanding of the Magento ecommerce platform.
The Job Will Involve
- Developing custom modules and extending Magento's core functionality
- Working with 3rd party API's such as EPOS systems, Payment Gateways and Shipping Couriers
- Advising on development issues and best technical approaches for projects
- Working with large amounts of product, customer and order data
- Troubleshooting bugs and issues
- Writing technical spec's, producing and working with wireframes
Essential Skills
- A thorough understanding of PHP and MySQL
- Working knowledge of the Magento ecommerce platform
- Experience working with LAMP Server Environments
- A solid working knowledge of HTML, CSS, XML and Javascript
- Familiarity with W3C guidelines on XHTML and CSS
- Experience working with Javascript libraries such as jQuery
- A high level of attention to detail
- Ability to self-manage

Desirable Skills
- Experience working with Subversion

We have an opportunity for a junior level PHP developer to join our team. The successful candidate will work alongside our busy web team to develop new features and functionality for our ecommerce website.
The Job Will Involve
- Developing new features and functionality for our ecommerce website
- Extending and modifying existing features and functionality
- Working closely with other members of the technical team
