Customer Services Advisor - Newcastle Upon Tyne - Full Time
Salary £15,000- £17,500 – Depending on skills and experience
We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic, driven, organised individual with outstanding communication skills to join the End Customer Services team. The Customer Services team is key in ensuring the smooth daily running of the End e-commerce business, dealing with all telephone and email queries, processing returns and creating new orders.
Key Responsibilities
- Answering telephone queries
- Responding to email queries
- Assist our international customer base with a wide variety of queries
- Placing new customer orders via email and telephone
- Troubleshooting bugs and issues
- Assisting with fit and sizing enquires
- Liaising with the Dispatch Team to assist customer with delivery issues
- Handling and processing internet order returns

PHP Developer - Newcastle Upon Tyne - Full Time
We are currently looking for a bright and enthusiastic PHP developer to join the End team. The job role is based within the main End office in Newcastle City centre working with the existing web content and design team. The successful candidate should have at least 2-3 years of commercial experience and should be able to demonstrate a solid understanding of the Magento ecommerce platform.
The Job Will Involve
- Developing custom modules and extending Magento's core functionality
- Working with 3rd party API's such as EPOS systems, Payment Gateways and Shipping Couriers
- Advising on development issues and best technical approaches for projects
- Working with large amounts of product, customer and order data
- Troubleshooting bugs and issues
- Writing technical spec's, producing and working with wireframes
Essential Skills
- A thorough understanding of PHP and MySQL
- Working knowledge of the Magento ecommerce platform
- Experience working with LAMP Server Environments
- A solid working knowledge of HTML, CSS, XML and Javascript
- Familiarity with W3C guidelines on XHTML and CSS
- Experience working with Javascript libraries such as jQuery
- A high level of attention to detail
- Ability to self-manage
- A passion for the retail industry, menswear, and the brands we work with
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Desirable Skills
- Experience working with Subversion
- An understanding of emerging web technologies such as HTML 5
- Ability to deploy and configure Linux web servers
- Experience working with Cloud-based hosting solutions

Junior PHP Developer - Newcastle Upon Tyne - Full Time
Salary £20,000 - £24,000 – Depending on skills and experience
We have an opportunity for a junior level PHP developer to join our team. The successful candidate will work alongside our busy web team to develop new features and functionality for our ecommerce website.
The Job Will Involve
- Developing new features and functionality for our ecommerce website
- Extending and modifying existing features and functionality
- Working closely with other members of the technical team
- Working with large amounts of product, customer and order data
- Troubleshooting bugs and issues
Essential Skills
- A solid grounding in PHP and MySQL
- A high level of HTML, CSS, XML and Javascript knowledge
