Nigel Cabourn x Red Wing 4619 Munson Boot

AW12 sees an exciting collaboration between two brands that need no introduction, Nigel Cabourn and Red Wing. Cabourn took inspiration from a pair of WW1 combat boots, which led to the creation of the Munson Boot. Although the two brands come from different fields, their mutual respect for the heritage in the products they produce brought them together to form a solid collab.

The 'Munson Boot' is constructed using Munson lasts, designed in 1912 by Dr. Munson. The distinctive feature of this design was the toe shape, which was built to follow the line of the toe tips, providing maximum protection during combat. Red Wing Experienced in making both Work and Military boots came in contact with Munson Lasts for the first time in five decades through this collaboration.
