Engineered Garments Bucket Hat

The bucket hat is an essential piece of warm weather outdoor kit, widely adopted by the military and outdoor enthusiasts for its simple utility and the protection it offers from sun or rain. For SS12, Daiki Suzuki has given this classic item a novel twist, utilising a hawaiian print RipStop fabric on the interior, visible when the hat's brim is reversed. In typical Engineered Garments fashion, the hat's construction is highly utilitarian. Made from a wind and water-resistant cotton/polyester blend outer, with reinforced stitching on the brim, the bucket hat is slightly shallower at the front than the rear, meaning it sits perfectly on the head.
