Another obscure inspiration for CDG is 18th century alchemy, and this is beautifully shown in their Cologne Series 4 parfum. Non-sweet, the fragrance consists of bitter orange, aged bergamot and rosemary. Think more of a smooth, dry fragrance, not overpowering but present.
