Visvim SS’11 First Drop…

Visvim require no introductions, Hiro Nakamura’s uber-brand are one of the most revered names around, garnering universal respect for their forward thinking design that goes beyond trends, pushing boundaries in terms of performance and function. SS11 is, of course, no different, and our first drop features some brand new styles, all full of new ideas and materials yet still quintessentially ‘Visvim’.

The Gris Moc Folk, is a premium re-interpretation of the Native American hunt boot, made from African Kudu suede, the Gris combines soft, natural lines with modern functional detailing such as a Vibram sole and TPU Heel Stabiliser.

Also appearing for the first time is the Yucca Moc Folk, Visvim’s take on the humble boat shoe, made with a distinctly ‘heritage’ feel, premium leather and suede uppers with over-sized stitch detail sit on a thoroughly modern memory-foam footbed and EVA outsole. This early Spring drop is completed by the much-anticipated Flynt Lo – an incredibly well executed version of the surf chukka boot – and a new cut, the 05, in the Sculpture Series jean.

We are all in agreement here that our proverbial appetites have all been ‘whetted’ and while we can’t wait for drop 2 to arrive, there’s more than enough in this first delivery to keep us very, very interested. Head over to the Visvim Section and have a look for yourself…
