VISVIM – SS/13 Drop 2

Friday, March 29th, 2013

Hiroki Nakamura is a man who has very little interest in the perfect products that can be produced through modern manufacturing methods. He’s a man more concerned with character. Nakamura, the founder and head designer for VISVIM, has solidly produced collections for consisting of understated, timeless pieces that belie that incredible level of effort paid to functional design and premium materials.

Reappearing for SS13 is the Serra Boots, a VISVIM staple, this time constructed with vegetable tanned Horween leather uppers and lining made from un-tanned leather, making it soft, supply and extremely breathable. These first class uppers sit on top of a cork footbed, TPU heel stabilizer and surgically enhanced EVA Phylon midsole ensuring the functionality of the Serra. The 7 Hole 73-Folk boots are also back for this seasons collection, featuring hand sewn cowhide leather and Japanese canvas uppers and the classic, military inspired wrap around laces and brass Riri zip side entry.

Dedication to create pieces that will stand the test of time has always been a focus of Nakamura’s. Through working with skilled artisans and focusing on tried and tested production techniques he has succeeded time and time again in this and the SS13 is no different. The Patrician WT Hi-Folk is a perfect example of this, with a cork footbed, bamboo shank and TPU Stablizer, they are sure to remain comfortable for years to come With this focus on longlasting durability in mind, the Patrician WT Hi-Folk features a hard wearing VIbram sole which, in the unlikely case that it will every have to be, can be easily replaced thanks to its hand stitched goodyear welt construction.

The collection also has strong offerings outside of the world of footwear. The Juneau Weld Noto Giza Shirt, another staple of the brand, this time features a tapestry style fabric on its weld chest pocket and is constructed from a strain of giza cotton, the highest grade of cotton in the world, developed exclusively for VISVIM. The focus on materials does not stop there, with the SS102 One Wash Jacket constructed from a rare, 12oz green selvedge denim spun in Japan, a material which truly deserves to be called premium.

Saucony’s Spring/Summer 12 ‘Packer Collection’ – Drop 2

Monday, June 11th, 2012

Earlier this month the first part of Saucony’s highly limited collaboration with Packer of Jersey launched here at End, selling out within hours. For those who missed out, we did manage to get a limited restock, and these will soon by joined by the second, and final instalment of the collection, with the remaining two colourways launching online and instore in early July.

Continuing the theme that ran throughout the first drop, Packer once again rework the hugely popular Grid 9000, using colours and materials inspired by trail running footwear. The result is two shoes that perfectly showcase this classic 90s runner, using a combination of suede, mesh and canvas to highlight the Grid’s clean lines, durable construction and unsurpassed comfort. As with the first half of the release, numbers are extremely limited, so if you want to ensure you get a pair you’ll have to be quick. We will be launching the Packer Colab at 10am BST on Friday 15th July, if you would like more information regarding the release, drop us an email at info@endclothing.co.uk or call our customer service team on +44 191 231 3983.

Fred Perry Blank Canvas x 6876

Friday, November 25th, 2011

Fred Perry Blank Canvas’ Autumn / Winter 2011 collection sees the iconic British label collaborating with pioneering outerwear specialists 6876, creating a bespoke ten piece collection that draws influence from anti-establishment movements. For those who didn’t already know, Kenneth Mackenzie’s 6876 take their name from the year of the ’68 Parisian student protests and the birth of punk – 1976, movements that Fred Perry’s iconic clothing was central to.

This latest collection sees both brands moving new directions in terms of updating detailing and design of archive pieces. This has resulted in Fred Perry combining their iconic Laurel Wreath with another brands logo as one for the very first time, proudly displayed on pieces that incorporate Fred Perry’s intricate tailoring with premium fabrics ranging from signature pique polos to textured knitwear.

The full collection is now available both online and in store, however numbers are extremely limited and we don’t expect it to hang about for long.

Human Made First Drop

Tuesday, October 4th, 2011

The highly anticipated first release from Human Made has arrived at End Clothing, and the collection proves its founder Nigo is still very much ‘on top of his game’ when it comes to all things to do with streetwear fashion. Our first drop features a mix of heavy and mid-weight loop-wheeled cotton tees featuring American-influenced prints. Alongside the t-shirts we’re also now stocking the Duck Work Pant, an incredible take on the Western working man’s chino with a Eastern approach and bespoke tailoring.

This is the first time Human Made has been available on British shores, so understandably, quantities are extremely limited. As such we suggest heading over to the Human Made section now to avoid disappointment.
