Now in its fifth season, Nike and Undercover founder Jun Takahashi collaborate once again to produce a collection that combines Nike’s high-performance technical apparel with the Tokyo-based designer’s sharp personal aesthetic, creating a collection designed specifically for running.

The Autumn/Winter 2012 collection is influenced by the forest of Nagano, Japan, a place where warriors and scholars meditated, reflected and trained their minds and bodies. The collection itself seamlessly combines ergonomic and innovative design with Nike’s sportswear heritage, utilising lightweight, breathable, waterproof materials to great effect. As ever, Takahashi has selected a considered colour palette with the usual mix of grey, teal and burgundy complemented by the introduction of patterns for the first time, the highlight being the ‘autumn leaf’ camouflage, enabling the collection to blend with the natural environment, mimicking the flora of the Nagano forest.
