Fans of Nike are in for a real treat this January, with one of the strongest set of inline releases we’ve seen in, well as long as we can remember really. There’s vintage runners such as the V-Series and Pre Montreal, as well as archive basketball favourite the Blazer – in both low and mid guise. The Air Base II makes a long-overdue return, in two OG colourways that showcase it’s distinctive lines, while the Air Force 1 is re-issued in bold, textured leather as part of the Charles Barkley ‘Godzilla Pack’ – the first of a number of Sir Charles based releases for 2013.
Of course, no Nike collection would be complete without at least one Air Max, and January 2013 goes a lot, lot further than just the one. As well as a plethora of colours in the 90 and 87 models, there is also one of the most anticipated releases of recent months included within the styles, the ‘Old and New’ pack. Comprising a vintage and ‘EM’ version of the OG Max 1, ’90 and ’95 the pack looks at the heritage and future of some of the most iconic trainers of all time. A truly exceptional pack that is not to be missed.
