There may be a fair few shirts out there at the moment, check, oxford, madras, but for our money nobody does it quite like Gitman Vintage. Each season Chris Olberding (The main man at Gitman) searches back through the company’s impressive archive and selects a year’s fabrics to resurrect.
The Gitman Vintage Spring / Summer 2010 collection pays homage to Spring / Summer 1984. In addition to selecting classics such as washed solid and striped oxfords, Gitman have also chosen some of their favorites from the past: antique seersucker, cotton madras, cabana stripes, and short sleeve oxfords.
The attention to detail on each shirt is equally impressive as the pedigree, with perfectly aligned checks and subtle stitching details. Each shirt is of course produced in the USA.
