‘Craftsmanship’; the work of a skilled artisan or practitioner of highly skilled labour.

Always seeking to find the best brands from around the world we’re fortunate in that we have a number of them on our doorstep and with this in mind we recently embarked on a trip to the New Balance factory in Flimby, (Cumbria, UK) to experience the time, detail and craftsmanship that goes into the making of their famous trainers.

On arriving we were eagerly poised with our camera as we witnessed exactly why New Balance has been making some of the highest quality trainers in the UK for over 28 years. Producing over 28,000 pairs of shoes every week, to the highest level of detail it is a truly inspirational operation with an overwhelming sense of team work, pride and craftsmanship evident within a small team of 210 people.

Consisting of three, premium M576 trainers, the pack pays homage to the history of the factory surroundings with a careful selection of colours, materials and details that represent the varied and often breath-taking landscape of the Lake District and Cumbria have to offer.

Launching this Friday, 11th February this is a highly anticipated release is sure to fly out, so with this in mind we’re giving one lucky person the chance to win the whole pack!
