Tricker’s x End Hunting Co. – The ‘Colour Card’ Pack

Friday, May 10th, 2013

The latest chapter in our collaboration with one of the greatest names in shoemaking, the Tricker’s x End Hunting Co. Colour Card Pack is our take on their classic Stow Brogue Boot. Inspired by the industry standard colour cards that are integral to any cross brand collaboration, the Stow Brogue’s have experienced a hit of colour with a contrasting Dainite Commando sole. Keeping up with the standard of our previous collaborations, they feature premium Cavalier leather uppers, longwing punched brogue detailing and are goodyear welted to their eye catching soles.

As ever, numbers are extremely limited, so head over to the Tricker’s section now for a proper look, before they’re gone.

Tricker’s x End Hunting Co. Oxblood Brogues 2013 – Coming Soon

Tuesday, January 15th, 2013

The latest in our long-standing collaboration with the Northampton-based footwear masters sees us take on their classic Bourton Derby Brogue and Stow Brogue Derby Boots, retaining the elements for which Tricker’s have become so widely respected, and showcasing a bold new ‘Oxblood’ colourway.

Tricker’s have been producing their high quality handmade shoes since 1829, becoming one of the most respected producers of premium footwear in the world. Originally operating under founder Joseph Barltrop’s name, the brand became Tricker’s when his son took over, as he believed the brand would have more success under his wife’s name. He was right. Since then, Tricker’s have become synonymous with superior quality, Goodyear Welted boots and brogues and as ever it has been a pleasure to add the name End Hunting Co. to their designs.

The Bourton Derby Brogue and Stow Brogue Derby Boots are constructed using premium leather uppers, this time in rich oxblood red, both of which feature punched wing-tip detailing and are incredibly durable with their double stacked, Barbour welted leather sole. Finished to Tricker’s usual high standards with metal eyelets, waxed cotton laces and a contrasting nylon pull tab.

The latest edition of the Tricker’s x End Hunting Co. collaboration will be available from the Tricker’s section of our website from Thursday 17th January 2013. For more information please contact us at info@endclothing.co.uk.

Tricker’s for End Hunting Co. – British Craftsmanship Collection

Tuesday, November 6th, 2012

Our long standing relationship with British shoemakers Tricker’s continues to go from strength to strength, and our sixth collaborative effort with the brand showcases why the Northampton-based craftsmen are so highly regarded.

Our latest styles are modelled on two of Tricker’s more celebrated profiles; the Bourton Derby Brogue and the Stow Brogue Derby Boot. Both are supremely constructed using Goodyear welting, with carefully considered materials – such as Cavalier and calf leather – and finished luxuriously with outdoor-inspired lacing, metal eyelets and a lugged commando sole for maximum grip in bad weather. Each shoe features a cotton twill heel tab in either, red, white or blue, in recognition of Tricker’s place as a true British institution.

This highly limited series is one of our finest to date and we reckon it’s a fitting tribute to one of the most legendary names on the End roster. For a closer look, please visit the Tricker’s section of the website.

Tricker’s x End Hunting Co. Part IV – The Repello Longwing Brogue

Thursday, June 21st, 2012

One of the greatest names in shoemaking, Tricker’s have been producing the finest bespoke footwear since 1829, with every pair handmade in their Northampton factory, using only the finest leathers, utilising time-honoured manufacturing techniques passed down over 5 generations. To put the brand’s longevity into perspective, 1829 was the year the uniformed police force was established by Sir Robert Peel and Abraham Lincoln gave his first political speech. Despite their years, the majority of production techniques remain, helping to reinforce the reputation Tricker’s has garnered over the years as true leaders in the art of shoe manufacture.

We’re very pleased to be able to continue working on our highly limited collaboration series with Tricker’s. Developing on from our previous styles, the fourth instalment is a re-working of the classic long wing brogue, perfect for the warmer months. Available in four, Summer-inspired colours, the shoe is based on the highly lauded ‘Richard’ silhouette, built on a 4497 last with the whole look and foot-feel of the shoe lightened in comparison to our previous designs, with the use of a crepe sole and Repello suede uppers. Repello is so named due to its shower proof properties, with the suede having been given a Scotchguard treatment, which makes it ideal for the inclement British summer. The End Hunting Co. Design Team have added metal eyelets, two-tone rolled ‘outdoor’ laces and a natural canvas pull tab on the heel – subtle details that help add a distinguished touch to this Tricker’s classic. As always the shoes are finished with a dual branded stamp on a natural leather insole. The result is a lightweight, durable long wing, perfect for the Great British Summer and years beyond.

Tricker’s for End Hunting Co. Part II – Waxed Two Tone Brogue & Boot

Friday, December 16th, 2011

We are pleased to reveal the second instalment in our collaboration with English master shoemakers Tricker’s. This release has a rugged but refined feel, inspired by the Northumberland countryside, and the harsh northern winters.

The first style re-worked by our End Hunting Co. team is a Bourton Brouge Shoe on a 4444 last, with a rich espresso waxy leather and canvas upper. The upper sits proudly on a black commando sole unit, with a natural barbour welt, making it perfect for winter use. Tonal pull loops, hiking laces and dual branded in-sole finish the shoes perfectly.

The accompany style is Kelmscott boot on a 4497S last, rarely seen from Tricker’s. The boot lends itself perfectly to a mixed material, leather and canvas upper. The waxy leathers, commando sole and D-ring eyelets give a rugged look, and make the boots perfect for the winter season.

Head over to the Tricker’s Section now for a proper look. If the last release was anything to go by, these won’t be about for long!

Tricker’s for End Hunting Co. Part I – Long Wing Country Brogue

Tuesday, November 8th, 2011

We’re very pleased to be able to announce the first release in a series of highly limited collaborations with master-shoemaker Tricker’s. Our design debut is a subtle reworking of the long-wing Golosh country brogue, a highly popular archive silhouette. This End Hunting Co. exclusive is made from contrasting full grain and smooth, waxed calf-leather panels with choice additions, such as an alternate brass top eyelet and tonal Dainite sole for added durability during winter.

This highly limited style is finished off in typically premium fashion with a printed leather insole and a canvas heel pull – somewhat of a first on a Tricker’s shoe. Head over to the Tricker’s Section now for a proper look.
