Stussy x Timberland Spring 2011 – Vibram Loafer

Monday, March 14th, 2011

Back in January the guys from Timberland braved the weather and travelled all the way from the U.S.A to our Hunting Co. store to bring us news of the spring instalment of the Stussy collaboration. After the stunning boot Stussy designed for the last winter, we were obviously excited to see what was coming for the spring, and we were not disappointed.

Stussy have taken the classic Timberland hand stitched loafer and updated it with a premium nubuck upper, and a striking Virbam sole unit. The shoe is also fully leather lined and features dual Timberland and Stussy embossed branding. The shoe will be released in three colourways later this month, and will retail at £149. As always, numbers are limited, so please email or call us on +44(0)191 231 3983 if you would like to reserve a pair.

Stussy x Timberland 30th Anniversary Boot – A Closer Look

Thursday, July 15th, 2010

To celebrate 3 decades of “hittin’ switches” Stüssy have teamed up with veteran boot makers Timberland. Together they’ve produced a fine take on the ever-popular desert boot style while still keeping it quintessentially Stüssy and Timberland in appearance.

The designers have opted to use the current sole unit of choice that is Vibram and why not, it is after all one of the finest platforms to sit a shoe on and one that Timberland themselves pioneered. With an upper constructed of premium suede, heavy duty metal eyelets and a padded leather collar the Chukka is topped off with dual branding and an embossed 30th anniversary Stüssy logo.
The main Stüssy influence on the Chukka is the injection of contrasting colour on the laces and top eyelet. If that however is too much for the purist in you a tonal set of laces accompanies the shoe.

Set for release later this month, so don’t delay, as with all Stüssy anniversary collections numbers are stupidly limited. For further information or pictures please give us a call on +44 191 261 9327 or email us at info@endclothing.co.uk.

Stussy Deluxe x Maiden Noir

Friday, September 25th, 2009

The brainchild of well travelled South African Nick Bower, Stussy Deluxe is as the name suggests an extension of the Stussy brand, and one that focuses on classic heritage design, adding a subtle essence of the Stussy ethos to it. Bower admits to drawing influence from a wide array of designers. APC, Commes Des Garcons, Brooks Brothers and Visvim to name but a few have shaped this fledgling range.

The idea is simple; to take what is a ‘classic’ in terms of design and make it recognisable as being a Stussy product, whilst still keeping the elements that made it so great. The range features carefully selected colabs including one with Dr. Martens - where Stussy Deluxe reworked a classic Desert Boot silhouette to give it a more street wear feel – and another with Seattleites Maiden Noir, a brand notorious for producing the highest quality jeans.

Also in the collection is Stussy Deluxe’s incredible representation of classic American shirting, the Newbridge plaid shirt is one of the finest examples of it’s kind that we have seen of late. Made from heavyweight premium cotton and cut in a considered and modern way, it is in some ways a huge step away from the graphically led styles of Stussy mainline, with any branding being almost hidden away.
