Our second drop of the season from cult Japanese brand Comme des Garçons SHIRT is now available in-store and online. The drop contains a range of summer tees and tops with mixed colour and material panels, all with a very classic Comme look. We also have the second part of the Pointer x Comme des Garçons collaboration project, which follows on from the stunning range we saw for winter 2010. For the summer Comme have again taken the Tanju and Barajas, this time updating the upper with a washed camouflage fabirc. There is also a clean white version, for those of you not feeling so brave…

Since it’s conception and launch in 1969, Comme des Garçons has always pushed the boundries of fashion, moving into new territory in terms of both style and quality. Rei, Junya and the team often work with technologically advanced fabrics and techniques to enhance their collections, but this summer the Comme des Garçons SHIRT range takes things back to basics.

The range focuses on high quality fabrication and construction, taking hints from the season’s key trends such as nautical, camouflage and oxfords. The result is a collection of classically styled premium garments, each with a very subtle Comme des Garçons twist. The collection features premium oxford shirting, nautical jersey tees, camouflage insert shirting, and collaboration sneakers from Generic Surplus.

The SHIRT diffusion line takes classic silhouettes and gives them twists and variations that echo the Comme des Garçons Homme and Homme plus collections.
