Billionaire Boys Club – Season 12

Wednesday, January 19th, 2011

Six years on and the brand created by N.E.R.D. front man and uber-producer Pharrell Williams and his friend, and Bathing Ape creator Nigo, continues to grow and expand showing they are much more than just a side-project or t-shirt label – as the Nothing Sneakers showed. Season 12 kicks off with some quality, varied designs from both the BBC and Ice Cream stable, including everything from jeans to cushions on their quest to become a total lifestyle choice.

The early offerings from Billionaire Boys Club have return to some old favourites, incorporating a distinctly collegiate feel. Block coloured vintage hoodies,V-Neck Sweaters and New Era Caps all bearing the original BBC logo sit alongside the famous Running Dog Jeans showing off their impressive design back-catalogue.

Ice Cream-wise the bar – pardon the pun – has been raised, with a brilliantly eclectic delivery of flannel shirts, gilets, skinny jeans, keyrings and the cushion mentioned earlier, each bearing classic Ice Cream logos with varying degrees of subtlety. All in all, we reckon this is one of the best drops yet, and is well worth a proper look…

Billionaire Boys Club ‘Nothings’ Sneakers

Wednesday, July 7th, 2010

It’s with great pleasure that we can now bring you a closer look at the new sneaker collection from Pharrell and the BBC team. The sneakers are uniquely named ‘Nothings’, which perhaps has something to do with friend Nigo’s retail concept ‘Nowhere’? BBC have kept the design clean, simple and classic, and concentrated on the finer details to make the sneakers really stand out. The uppers are made from high-grade premium canvas, with the Billionaire Boys Club ‘B’ branding on the leather heel tab. The insoles have a vivid leopard print, and the sole unit is a custom BBC design, finished in vintage gum.

The Nothings are due to launch soon here at End, and will be available both instore and online.

Billionaire Boys Club Season 11 – Fall / Winter 2010

Thursday, July 1st, 2010

Fall / Winter 2010 sees Pharrell’s Billionaire Boys Club move into its 11th season. The brand is fast becoming a design classic, with iconic designs now appearing in each season. The season 11 collection has a distinct outdoor / workwear feel to it, with a fantastic use of materials such as denim, tweed and chambray. The classic tees and polos that have become so iconic are also present, along side a healthy injection of new designs.

The big news for the season is that Pharrell’s Ice Cream sneaker collection will be making a welcome return. Pharrell has taken the range back to basics, using premium materials on a clean simplified silhouette. The Ice Cream footwear collection will be available to purchase online from August, unlike all other BBC and Ice Cream products.

The first delivery from Season 11 is online now, and is a great mix of tees and polos perfect for the current heatwave. As always BBC and Ice Cream is not available online, so please email or call us on +44(0)191 261 9327 to place an order.

Billionaire Boys Club & Ice Cream A/W Drop 1

Thursday, July 23rd, 2009

AW09 is Billionaire Boys Club and sister brand Ice Cream’s 9th season, in this time Pharrell and Nigo have introduced a huge number of highly original and distinctive logos, characters and motifs to the unsuspecting fashion world. From the cone head to the space dog, everything from jeans to hats have carried their ingenious branding, and season 9 is no exception.

As with previous collections the pre-season look book caused a real stir, full of the more outlandish pieces and giving a taster of the range’s new characters and designs. The AW09 look book showed pre-occupations with hunting, metropolis, ‘space beach’ and ray guns, as well as old classics like the waffle, robots and dripping ice cream.

Our first shipment of BBC sees many of these new themes and old classics coming together in a typically small, but perfectly formed release. The premium Japanese cotton tees that are synonymous with Billionaire Boys Club carry prints of hunting scenes, space pilots, ice creams of many denominations and the famous BBC x N.E.R.D. Heart and Mind graphic.

Preppy influenced striped helmet logo polos, the ubiquitous trucker cap, this time with the new Peppermint IC logo across the front, and a brilliant plaid flannel shirt with the conehead logo complete this mini-drop. With the rest of season 9 promising to be just as good, the next few months should be pretty exciting for all you BBC/Ice Cream fans out there!

Billionaire Boys Club Final Drop of SS09!

Thursday, June 11th, 2009

Every fortnight we eagerly anticipate the delivery of the latest Billionaire Boys Club designs. Over the past few months we’ve had gold wallets, buttered waffle plimsoles and tees with magicians on them. Yesterday saw the arrival of the final delivery of the season, but don’t worry, Pharell and Nigo’s super-brand will be back soon, but in the mean time we have some great t-shirts, polos and jeans to keep you going.

The Running Dog jeans that have been so popular arrived in a great washed vintage denim, with the classic ‘Dog’ design across the front in red paint and helmet logos on the back pockets. The ‘smart cut’ has a slight taper at the ankle and is slimmer than the standard jean, but still keeps to the much-loved 5 pocket design.
The selection of polo shirts BBC have given us over the last 6 months has been broad, varied and brilliant, and the final drop does not disappoint. The Multi Logo Polo has contrast paneling and large embroidered logos on either side of the chest, reminiscent of the shirts worn by polo players in competition.

Ice Cream give us a fantastic stripe polo in colours inspired by all things summery, mainly cream with light blue and pink horizontal stripes and the cone head logo on the chest. A BBC drop wouldn’t be complete without a selection of their distinctive t-shirt designs, featuring favorites such as the ‘gentleman’, ‘space gentlemen’ and classic logos, each given a twist, be it the addition of a rocket ship, a gradient colour way or a clever change of proportion.

Once again the guys at BBC have done what they do best – producing a brilliantly individual delivery, befitting of this great SS09 collection…
