When you name your brand after a Jean-Luc Godard film you are definitely setting a president, the French director who is famous for his pioneering, new wave style was seen as a fore-runner and the epitome of ’cool’ at the time. It is apt then that LA based fashion house Band of Outsiders would take there name from such a source, as they too are now synonymous with cutting edge style, and are the name on the lips of all of modern fashion’s leading lights.

Although Band of Outsiders draw influence from a wide range of sources, there is a definite leaning towards the style icons of the 1950’s and 60’s, and to all things ’preppy’. But there is also a real sophistication, with pointers to classic French, Italian and dare we say, English style in their collections.
