This week sees the arrival of a legendary runner from the Asics and the replenishing of our stocks of one of their most acclaimed silhouettes. Quite rightfully, the technical brilliance of Asics performance footwear has began to be more widely recognised and we’re pleased to have on offer some of their best designs.
Since its debut in 1989, the Asics Gel Lyte III has become one of the brand’s most iconic runners, due in no small part to a series of strong colourways that have adorned it over the years. 2013 introduces this solid purple and grey iteration, retaining the split tongue, 3M reflective patches and gel cushioned sole that made it ideal for long distance.
Another legendary runner from the Asics archives, the Gel Saga was first released in 1990 for the burgeoning Japanese and US markets, receiving critical acclaim from all quarters. For this iteration, its Gel cushioned sole is decked out in speckled grey, complimenting the classic Asics stripes at the side panels and it receives hits of icy blue, standing out at the laces, liner and branding.
