Delivering their third collaborative effort, Hong Kong-based creative powerhouse CLOT have again teamed up with heralded Japanese designer Kazuki Kuraishi to produce the Adidas ObyO kzKLOT Superstar 80s Royal Blue.

Part of the ‘Breathe’ series, the designer has reworked the classic Superstar profile, adding a new dimension to the trainer with the premium leather uppers replaced with a lightweight mesh nylon. The design and manufacture of this shoe is carefully considered, sympathetically produced from the perspective of a Hong Kong citizen dealing with the Asian country’s notoriously humid climate. As you would expect, classic details such as the reinforced toe box, zig zag stripes and rubber sole unit still remain with the shoe finished off with rich suede and premium cotton inners to add a touch of comfort.

The Adidas ObyO kzKLOT Superstar 80s Royal Blue will be available online from 00:01am BST 1st July, 2012.
