Woolrich Woolen Mills Autumn Collection

Monday, September 13th, 2010

Woolrich Woolen Mills is a unique collaborative project between Woorich and Engineered Garments designer Daiki Sazuki. The concept differs from other collections as each season the range begins with the fabrics themselves, rather than the individual styles. Daiki selects a range of fabrics from the rich Woolrich archive that he wishes to work with for the season, and the styles are created around the fabrics. Daiki has worked extensivly with buffalo checks, compact wools and rustic plaids to create a range which reflects Woolrich’s traditional woodman style and American heritage.

This season Daiki has chosen to work with traditional plaid wool, cotton flannel, herringbone wool and heavy cotton twill. He has developed a range our outdoor inspired styles which perfectly showcase these unique fabrics.

The vests, shirting and jackets work perfectly when layered together for the winter season. Head to the Woolrich Woolen Mills section now to view the full range.

Our Legacy AW10

Thursday, September 9th, 2010

Over the past few years we have seen Our Legacy grow, improve and diversify at an incredible rate. The core ethos has always been the same; making timeless pieces that get better with wear and are sympathetic to the iconic designs of the past, and this has never been more true than of the AW10 range. From jersey pieces such as the Great Sweat, resilient outerwear like the Waxed Parka and of course their incredible shirting, Our Legacy have managed to create a large, and ever growing range that always manages to keep to the brand’s key beliefs. Drawing influence from all over the World, we see examples of American workwear, English Tailoring, European minimalism and much more in clothing that is all made to the highest standards using carefully selected materials from around the globe.

Below is a small example of some of Our Legacy’s shirting for this season, and we really have been spoiled for choice. From checks, to Oxfords, to washed chambray, these Swedes aren’t doing things by halves…

New Balance Pub Pack & Hamper Competition

Wednesday, September 1st, 2010

We’ll be honest, a few of us here at End don’t mind the odd beer, but in our ever advancing years we have started to drink less and less lager, instead opting for a good real ale. We’re lucky enough to be blessed with a plethora of amazing local breweries here in the North East, and it just so happens End and New Balance have come up with the perfect excuse/reason to let one of our lucky customers get their hands on a hand-picked selection of local tipples!

The shoes themselves are nothing to be sniffed at, as good a release as we’ve seen from New Balance in sometime, a fitting tribute to one of the nations favourite pass-times. Based on the famous 576 silhouette, each shoe is based on the local pub of a Flimby employee. Finished in premium soft leather, representing the pub seats the insole of each shoe is based on the carpet of the pub and each pair comes with a bar towel and beer mat made exclusively for the collection. This Made in England range is extremely limited and is going on sale at 00.01 on Friday 3rd September, for your chance to get a pair of these amazing New Balance and a to win our special prize we’d recommend being quick, as we don’t think these will be around for long!

Tanner Goods – Made In The U.S.A

Wednesday, September 1st, 2010

Tanner Goods are one of only a few companies who can claim to produce goods that are truly Handmade. But each piece that comes out of their small Portland, Oregan Workshop is worked, from start to finish, by the hands of craftsman who have been in the Leather goods industry for 45 years, and this can be seen straight away in each item they make. Such painstaking production values are really the only way to do justice to the incredible leather used in every Tanner Goods piece. All the Vegetable Dyed English Bridle Leather used comes from four suppliers within the USA and is chosen not only for it’s unsurpassed quality, but also for the way it only improves as it ages.

In a time where ‘Americana’ and ‘Heritage’ are such buzz words, its refreshing to see a small company going out of their way to genuinely understand and replicate the rich history of an industry so expertly. Tanner Goods have already managed to build quite a name for themselves on Native shores, and we thought our fellow Brits should have a chance to see exactly how good there premium leather belts, wallets and ‘lifestyle goods’ really are.
