Hand-crafted by leather Artisans, made from the finest Horween leathers, and based on classic American styles, Yuketen is the best around. We have the Ranger Moc, Boat Shoes, Chukka and Canoe Moc now in stock…
The Quoddy name comes from the Passamaquoddy tribe, the imprint left by these original Maine dwellers is massive, and has influenced Quoddy in so many ways. The factory in Perry, sits on the Passamaquoddy Bay, and the techniques used to make their unsurpassed moccasins come directly from age old practices used by the tribe.
Today, Quoddy’s are still made by the Shorey family, Kevin Shorey runs the small factory, carrying on the name after Great-Grandfather Harry Smith Shorey had started the company back in 1909. As was the case 101 years ago each pair is hand sewn, no glue, adhesives or staples are used, so each shoe will perfectly fit your foot, and mould to it with wear.
History aside, Quoddy, and their unparalleled knowledge of moccasin manufactures, means that the styles they produce are second to almost none. Expertly made and brilliantly finished, every shoe that leaves the factory is meticulously checked before it can carry the Quoddy name. The styling is timeless, based on the moccasins worn by the Passamaquoddy, these Maine natives have never followed trends, instead letting their incredible footwear do the talking.
With such a great selection to choose from we opted for the shoes that best represented the Quoddy ethos. From the Grizzly and Ring Boots, made for hunting, through the boat shoes – also including Deck Boots, Chukkas and Bluchers, to the Maliseet Oxford, all of these incredible styles are brilliantly made, showcasing Quoddy’s expertise and quality as well as the vast influence of their native Maine.
With the arrival of Yuketen as well, we are counting ourselves very, very lucky to have both of these great American brands arriving imminently. Expect Quoddy to be available on-line and instore by early April. Do not miss out.

The last year has been great for casual footwear here at End, with the likes of Sperry, Fracap, Clarks and Weaver Moccasin coming up with some quality styles. There is though, one arrival above all others that is causing a serious stir, and that is Yuketen.

Designed by Yuki Matsuda, Yuketen’s styles are all based on heritage American silhouettes and each hand-made pair is made using only the finest materials for maximum comfort and durability. Our first drop, due imminently consists of some of the most recognised styles, the Ranger Moc, Boat Shoe, Chukka and Canoe Moc are perfect examples of Yuketen’s unsurpassed aesthetic and production ethos.
If the buzz that’s already been created from the announcement of our first Yuketen delivery is anything to go by these will not be in stock for long, so give us a call or drop us a line now to register your interest. You will not be disappointed.

We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who came down to our Hunting Co. store last night to help us celebrate the launch of the latest Adidas x Kazuki range. There was an impressive turn out, everyone was is good spirits (helped by 300 bottles of beer), and the range received an amazing response.
There are a few images from the party below, and for those of you who couldn’t make it down, the range is available online now.

Adidas have been working with Japanese designer Kazuki Kuraishi (Fragment / Neigborhood) on their Originals by Originals project for several seasons now, and this weekend sees the launch of the Spring 2010 collection. To celebrate the full release of this very special range we will be holding a launch event this Friday 19th March at our Hunting Co. store in Newcastle, from 6pm onwards.
The event will feature the launch of the full spring range in the plush surroundings of our Hunting Co. store, including new styles from the collection such as the Mintos Tracktops, Managers Shirts, Mintos Tees, ZKZ Campus and KZKLOT Superstars. We will of course be providing a few beers, canapes and a bit of entertainment. We will also be giving people at the event the chance to win a pair of trainers from the new collection.
We hope you can make it down to help us celebrate the launch of this very special range.

The collaboration between Canadian brand Ransom and Adidas continues this year, after a stunning debut in 2009. For the spring collection Ransom have taken the classic styles (Valley, Creek, Pier) and updated them in lightweight fabrics and colours for the spring. The Valley Low is a welcome addition, finished in ripstop and available in three colours.
There may be a fair few shirts out there at the moment, check, oxford, madras, but for our money nobody does it quite like Gitman Vintage. Each season Chris Olberding (The main man at Gitman) searches back through the company’s impressive archive and selects a year’s fabrics to resurrect.
The Gitman Vintage Spring / Summer 2010 collection pays homage to Spring / Summer 1984. In addition to selecting classics such as washed solid and striped oxfords, Gitman have also chosen some of their favorites from the past: antique seersucker, cotton madras, cabana stripes, and short sleeve oxfords.
The attention to detail on each shirt is equally impressive as the pedigree, with perfectly aligned checks and subtle stitching details. Each shirt is of course produced in the USA.
Part II of the highly limited Adidas x Star Wars collection, the Vehicle Pack, will launch here at End on Saturday 13th March. The pack consists of five classic Adidas styles, expertly re-work around the theme of the vehicles from the Star Wars films. After the huge success of the first drop, this pack needs little introduction, so we will let the preview images speak for themselves…

We don’t use the term “our favourite Danes” lightly, but this is exactly the honour that we bestow on Wood Wood, who season after season manage to come up with some of the most striking and original designs around.
Part one of their SS10 range season is, as we’d expect, novel and forward thinking, the Madrid shirt and Lucca cardigan take classic silhouettes and give them some great, unexpected detailing. Of course the graphic tees and crewnecks that Wood Wood excel at are present in abundance. As per usaual the designs are as considered, witty and well-executed, and bound to prove as popular as ever.
The Nike Sportswear team have collaborated with six different artists from around the world on a unique project which sets out to celebrate the beautiful game of football. Each chosen artist has been given the honour of designing a footwear pack which represents their home country in a modern and vibrant way. The first two footwear packs to drop here at End are ‘Team England’ and ‘Team Brazil’, design by James Jarvis and Nuca respectively.
British graphic artist James Jarvis is probably best know for his illustrations and Medicom Toy ranges, but he is also a serious sportsman and competitive marathon runner. Such a background makes him a perfect candidate to design the ‘Team England’ pack. James has reworked the Air Zoom Tiempo, Air Footscape Motion and the Air Lunar Rejuven8 Mid to stunning effect, representing his country, and producing a pack of highly wearable shoes.
Brazilian street artist Nuca has re-worked four styles to represent his country, The Air Zoom Tiempo, The Dunk High AC, the Lunar Chukka Woven + and the Air BW Gen II. Nuca has used the coulours of the Brazilian flag to great effect when re-working these four styles.
Still to come we have packs from Artist So Me (France), Delta (Netherlands), Mister Cartoon (USA) and Kronk (South Africa). Head to the Nike section now to check out Team England and Team Brazil…
