Nike Air Huarache Burst QS: Jordan XI Inspired

Friday, February 13th, 2009

The Huarache Light Burst hybrid has been around for some time, a culmination of two classics that were themselves bi-products of two of Nike’s most successful 90s trainers. Taking the lightweight uppers of the Huarache Light and the Air Max 270 sole unit from the Nike Air Burst, the Huarache Burst Light is a definitive modern classic.

This Quickstrike release adds another element to this already hugely successful hybrid. Paying tribute to the legendary Jordan XI, complete with patent side panels and coming in the original ‘Cool Grey’ and ‘Bred’ colourways as well as incorporating a pixelated image of MJ himself on the insole.

Despite being a firm favorite with sneaker heads, the Jordan XI perhaps doesn’t quite get the recognition it deserves. Hopefully this release go some way to changing that, while the Quickstrike release and premium finish will ensure that owning a pair will still be difficult enough to keep up the mystique of these shoes.

Levis Vintage Collection

Saturday, February 7th, 2009

Levis Vintage Collection is the heart and soul of the Levis brand. It faithfully and carefully recreates original garments from meaningful eras in the brands history. Over the years Levis jeans have shaped the history of denim, and the way all jeans look and fit. Copper riveting revolutionised the work pant, and over the years he fits have become iconic, and shaped all denim that followed.

This season Levis Vintage have gone back to basics, routed through the archives, and dug all all the best silhouettes from over the years. They have brought back a serious arsenal of rigid styles, the 1927, 1937, 1944, 1947, 1954 – each with their own cut and detailing. The washed denim has been kept to a minimum, with only two washed jeans, the 1954 Rootless, and the 1966 Roadside.

We have 3 styles of shirt on offer too, the classic Sawtooth Denim Shirt, a great 1950′s Western Shirt, and a Carpenter style stripe shirt. All styles come fully boxed as usual.

Follow the link below to view more of the collection, together with a breakdown of the key features of each 501 style as it developed over the years…

You Must Create – Online Now

Monday, February 2nd, 2009

You Must Create (YMC) are back this spring with one of the best collections yet. Jimmy and Fraiser are not influenced by passing trends, but rather spend their time developing high quality, well designed items. This seasons collection has a great mix of styles, which are packed full of detailing, and extremely wearable.

Key styles include the Zip Hooded jackets, in both Royal and Navy – a great classic YMC style, in an updated premium fabric. The Premium Canvas plimsole also makes a return this season, this time in Navy, Red and Bone, and is looking as sharp as ever. Another style to note is the nautical inspired stripe sweater, with its great button detailing. Topped off with a super waxed jacket, and a couple of great tees, this is a great casual collection.

More info on the styles in this first drop after the jump…
